Victorian 18ct Gold signet ring, hallmarked in 1897

A very striking design to this antique signet ring, hand crafted in rich and vibrant, solid 18ct Gold. An oval cartouche to the front, the reeded shoulders radiate across the finger down to the plain graduated shank

The oval cartouche bears a skillfully hand engraved monogram that reads SC

The ring is unisex and can be worn on any finger and is comfortable for everyday wear. Suitable for resizing

UK Ring size: M 1/2

US ring size: 6.5-6.75

(sizes are to the centre of the band to allow for the wider band)

Hallmark: Crown 18, assayed in London 1897

Makers Mark: BD Co

Dimensions: The Oval cartouche is 14 mm high x 9.5mm wide, the band graduates from the shoulders from 9mm to 3.5mm at the rear

Condition: Very good antique condition, the rear of the band has a slight bend in it but this cannot be seen at all when worn
