Edwardian Sterling Silver Albert chain with dog clip clasp

Striking and unusual chunky Anchor links make up the chain, each one stamped with the Lion passant denoting Sterling Silver, the chain terminates with a dog clip hallmarked, Birmingham 1901

The Silver is beautifully mellowed and the chain looks great worn as a short necklace

A Lovely chunky feel to the chain, there is a larger belcher link to the centre of the chain that would have held a T bar, a T bar, pendant or charm could easily be added to this link, making the chain rather versatile!

Hallmark: Lion passant to each link (for Sterling Silver) Birmingham assay and Date letter for 1901 to dog clip

Weight: 31.3 grams

Dimensions: 42cm / 16 1/2 inches long, Links are 6.9mm wide,

Condition: Very good antique condition, some rubbing to hallmarks commensurate with age, lovely antique patina to Silver
