A very collectible 9ct Gold utility wedding ring by a quality maker. During world war 2 Britain, these Utility wedding rings were the only wedding rings available due to the restricted use of precious metals and the prohibition of non essential Jewellery during the period.

A lovely comfortable, court shaped band in gorgeous warm yellow Gold ; Great for stacking with other bands of different styles and precious metals

Hallmark: Assayed in Birmingham in 1944, 9.375 for 9ct Gold (the 9 is quite rubbed) and the U for utility mark

Makers mark: J.H.W

US ring size: 5.5
