An original Art Deco 18ct Gold and Opal ring c1920

I love this original Art Deco ring for it's simple design and rather fabulous Opal!

Set with the most mesmerising round bezel set Australian Opal cabochon. Hand crafted in 18ct Gold throughout, with a very neat and well defined millegrain surround, featuring a handmade openwork gallery upon knife edge shoulders that fall to a narrow d shaped band

The Australian Opal cabochon is extremely vivid and exhibits the full spectrum of colours, greens, blues, oranges, yellows, pinks and the highly prized red rolling flash within, it is superb in all lights! The images are not doing this ring justice!

The Opal is 8.1mm round x 3.2mm with an estimated weight of 1.15 carats

The 18ct stamp is slightly obscured, the 1 is missing due to a previous resize (tested as 18ct Gold)

Condition: Very good vintage condition, the opal has some very light abrasions under 10 x magnification, very good for it's age, still shiny and bright
