Antique 14ct Gold, Sardonyx, Seal Ring

A Late Victorian to Early 20th Century 14ct Gold Sardonyx seal ring made in Germany c1900

An unusual and striking ring, the Sardonyx is hand carved into a symmetrical cross like design, bezel set with a rope twist detailed surround. Upon slightly widened shoulders, featuring hand carved detailing that graduate down to a comfortable d shaped band

The sardonyx with it's rich burnt orange hue beneath the white of the carved design looks very striking on the finger, the 14ct Gold is a rich buttery colour that contrasts beautifully against the stone

The ring is comfortable and practical for everyday wear

Dimensions: The head of the ring is 15.9mm high x 12.6mm wide, The shoulders are 5mm wide and graduate down to 1.55mm at the back of the band
