Antique 15ct Gold, Moonstone & Ruby Fringe Necklace

A Simply stunning Moonstone & Ruby Necklace! The perfectly matched bezel set Moonstone cabochons all shimmer and glow blue with strong adularescence, the Faceted natural Rubies are a deep pink that contrast with the moonstones to lovely effect

On an integral 15ct Gold fine trace link chain with original hand made figure of 8 clasp, the chain has been extended at some point with some 9ct trace link chain that is of a similar period and is well matched apart from a slight colour variation due to it being lower carat Gold but this is not seen when worn. We can remove this chain if preferred and take the necklace to it's original length that would be 37cm so a slender neck is required for that!

This hand made antique necklace looks so elegant when worn and would be perfect for a bride with it's ethereal aesthetic and could even be your something blue!

9 moonstones are set across the top of the necklace, alternating between a round cabochon and a larger oval cabochon, there is a drop to either side with faceted ruby, the largest moonstone drops in the centre below a faceted Ruby and hangs slightly lower creating a very balanced look to the design

The necklace is unmarked, fully tested as 15ct Gold and 9ct Gold extension to the ends of the chain, the clasp is 15ct Gold

Dimensions: The necklace is 41cm / 16 inches long, The Gem set section is 6cm wide, the lowest drop is 13mm long
