Antique 18ct Gold, Old European Cut Diamond Gypsy Set Ring

A beautiful Antique 18ct Gold & old European Cut Gypsy set ring, hallmarked in 1892

The ring is set to the front with 3 beautiful old European cut Diamonds that have been skillfully set to millegrain edged Diamond shaped settings. The Diamonds have been later set to this Victorian wedding ring, yet they look like they belong upon this ring and they are certainly a well thought out quality addition as the 3 Old cut Diamonds are so well matched, super sparkly and full of fire. The skillfully hand applied millegrain is exquisite and adds a touch more detail to the setting

The ring is very comfortable for everyday wear, the band is a wide 8mm with a flat profile with rounded edges and looks stunning on the finger and would make a lovely antique alternative style engagement ring

The 3 old European cut Diamonds are 3.2x3.2x2.2mm with an estimated in the setting as 0.15 carat with a total weight of 0.45 carat, Clarity VS2, colour H. There is a stamp inside the band 0.36 which indicates the Diamond carat weight but in our opinion they are over this weight
