Antique 18ct Gold & Platinum, Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Daisy Cluster Ring

This is a very sweet and dainty example of the ever popular, Antique Daisy Cluster ring made in the early twentieth Century c1910

This hand crafted ring features a Platinum topped setting with a halo of 10 old single cut Diamonds within a shaped bezel, set around a vivid mid blue Sapphire to the centre. The Sapphire is very neatly grain set, the little Platinum beads creating more detail and texture to the setting. The setting sits atop of a hand made openwork scalloped gallery

The 10 old cut Diamonds have a subtle sparkle against the millegrain Platinum surround and are full of antique charm

The 10 Natural old single cut Diamonds are estimated in the setting as 1.8mm round with a total Diamond weight of 0.25 carat

The Natural Sapphire is 3.7mm round with a carat weight of 0.25 carat

The ring is practical to wear as it sits close to the finger, the setting falls to a comfortable D shaped band
