Antique 18ct Gold, Very Rare, Double Dog Clip, Clasp, Pendant

Extremely rare and highly sought after Antique Double Dog clip in 18ct Gold, made in Sweden by Gustav Dahlgren & Co, c1900

Originally attached to a watch chain, now can be worn in many different ways! Such a versatile piece. They are a thing of beauty themselves so can be worn alone suspended from a chain, used to connect other pendants or charms or as a clasp or extender

This Swedish example features a triple reeded mid section and as is usual with these double dog clips, one clip is slightly larger than the other. We have had 9ct Gold examples and even 15ct but this rare beauty is 18ct Gold!

Hand crafted in solid 18ct Gold that is a subtle warm pale yellow

Both hinges are good and strong and work perfectly

Stamped 18K and Swedish control mark (and fully tested to confirm solid 18ct Gold throughout)

Makers mark: GD & Co for Gustav Dahlgren & Co

Weight: 1.9 grams

Dimensions: 23.2mm long, 6.6mm at the widest point

Condition: Very good antique condition, both hinges are good and strong and well aligned
