Antique, 18ct Gold, fancy link watch chain with dog clip and button Hole connector c1900

An unusual fancy link to this stunning antique watch chain in vibrant and rich solid 18ct Gold throughout. The chain is of Swedish origin and we have added an antique 18ct Gold dog clip to securely fasten the chain. The chain has a button hole connector that would have hooked over a button and held the chain in place; Rare to find and now make rather striking pendants or chain extenders. The button hook connector has such a contemporary look to it and gives the chain a unique twist

Great length for a necklace at over 20 inches, to wear alone or layered with other chains

The hand made links are full of detail consisting of textured reeded links, interconnected within larger convex links all in buttery and rich, solid 18ct Gold. The small bolt ring clasp has been soldered closed so now acts as a feature jump ring that connects the button hole hook

We can also remove the button hook connector from the chain if preferred, (Please enquire for a price for the chain without the button hook)

Dimensions: From the end of the dog clip to the end of the bolt ring length is 53cm / 20 3/4 inches long, links are 3.3mm at the widest point, the button hole connector is 37mm long x 20mm at the widest point

The dog clip is stamped 18ct, the end link is stamped 18k and the swedish control mark (3 crowns Swedish hallmark)

Condition: Very Good antique condition, there have been a couple of tiny historic repairs to the chain but not visible to the naked eye
