Antique 9ct Gold, Long Torpedo Drop Earrings

Fabulous 9ct Gold Antique faceted torpedo drop earrings from the late Victorian to early twentieth Century c1900s

These earrings are a super length at over 6.5cm and look stunning in the ears. Of hollow form in 9ct Gold, The top section is formed into a flower motif, the long torpedo drops are articulated, suspended from the top section and move freely in a pendulum like movement in the ears.

The torpedo drops are faceted throughout with a ribbed detailing to the top and terminating with a ball detail to the bottom, making them a rather unique pair of antique earrings

The earrings are on original long shepherd hook fittings (for pierced ears)

Unmarked, Tested as 9ct Gold (please note the tiny wire that holds the torpedo drop at the rear of the earring is not Gold)

Weight: Combined weight 4.6 grams

Dimensions: 67mm long, The top flower section is 9mm round, the widest point at the bottom of the earrings is 8.5mm

Condition: Very good antique condition. As mentioned above the tiny wire that holds the torpedo section at the back of the earring is not Gold.
