A beautiful Antique curb link Albert watch chain that terminates with a dog clip at both ends

This splendid Albert chain can be worn as intended to suspend a pocket watch or as a very stylish and practical necklace, being 39cm long, a great length for a short necklace!

The links are all hallmarked 9.375 for 9ct Gold as are both dog clips

The dog clips are both matching and original to the chain with good strong hinges, made by the very well respected quality Jewellery producer of the period, John Grinsell and sons of Birmingham

The chain closes with the original dog clip, the bolt ring clasp has been soldered shut and is now used as a feature jump ring

Looks great worn alone or layered with other chains, the dog clips can be worn at the front or side as a feature of the chain

Dimensions: 39cm/153/8 inch long end to end, links are 3.5mm wide

Hallmark: marked 9.375 (for 9ct Gold) to each link and the dog clips, some rubbing to stamps

Makers mark to the dog clips: JG&S for John Grinsell & Sons

Weight: 13 grams

Condition: Very Good antique condition, some wear to hallmarks along the chain commensurate with age of the piece
