This very smart antique Albert watch chain is in wonderful original condition - it can be utilised as intended to suspend a pocket watch or can be worn as a rather stylish necklace

Hand crafted in solid warm, subtle rose 9ct Gold, The links are all stamped 9.375 for 9ct Gold and are all a consistent width throughout the chain at 3.7mm, the chain terminates one end with a lovely chunky dog clip and an oversized bolt ring clasp to the other, the T bar moves freely along the chain. The components are all original to the chain and stamped with the same makers mark Acco for Albion Chain Co of Birmingham, a prolific maker of quality watch chains of the period.

The dog clip and bolt ring are both in excellent condition, the hinges are strong and perfectly aligned, ther T bar swivels freely

Hallmark: Assayed in Birmingham, 9.375 (for 9ct Gold) to each link, the dog clip is stamped 9.375 and T bar

Makers mark to the dog clip and T bar: ACCo for Albion Chain company of Birmingham

Weight: 18.5 grams

Dimensions: 39cm / 15 1/4 inches long, links are 3.7mm wide . The T bar is 34.5mm long

Condition: Excellent antique condition, only minimal wear to links, in all original condition
