Beautiful, Early Art Deco period emerald green enamel Sterling Silver Compact Locket pendant, hallmarked in 1922

The Emerald green enamel is a gorgeous colour, bright and shiny above an engine turned design, a combination that creates a Kaleidoscope effect when the light hits it

The compact has a skillfully hand engraved monogram to the rear, it has a large jump ring attached ready to add to a silver chain or ribbon

The compact opens up at the front and closes perfectly with a little click

The compact contains the original mirror that remains in very good condition. What looks like the original powder puff is also within which can of course be easily removed.

Full UK hallmark to the inside: Birmingham assay, Lion Passant, date letter for 1922

Makers mark: slightly rubbed but legible: C & C

Weight: 10.7 grams

Dimensions: 34.5mm round, 11.2mm depth, the jump ring is 8.6mm

Condition: Very good antique condition, the interior mirror is in excellent condition for age, the enamel is in very good condition with no losses, some slight undulations to the silver to the rear but not noticeable due to the engraving. There is a little ding below the thumb opener and cannot be seen at the front when worn, some indentations of the inner rim that are covered when the compact is closed
