Stunning Antique, Carnelian bead, Early 20th Century long drop earrings c1910s-1920s

The slightly graduating Carnelian beads are drilled and each one is threaded with a 9ct Gold wire making them articulated enabling them to move freely in the ears creating a dramatic effect.

The earrings may have been part of a necklace at some point, although converted a long time ago, The earrings were on screw back fittings for non -pierced ears however to make them even more wearable we have added Shepard hook fittings for pierced ears, hand made by our bench Jeweller in 9ct Gold

The Carnelian are a warm burnt orange and feature natural inclusions within the stones.

Weight: 15.3 grams combined weight

Unmarked, tested as 9ct Gold

Dimensions: 6.5cm long, 10.8mm at the widest point

Condition: Very good antique condition, the Carnelian have natural inclusions and some natural blemishes within the stone. Some tiny nibbles where the beads are drilled only seen under magnification
