Antique curb link sterling silver guard chain, with swivel dog clip

Super slinky and tactile antique sterling Silver long guard / muff chain c1880s

The chain is really versatile it can be wrapped around up to 3 times for a layer textured look. The swivel dog clip is a lovely detail in itself as it is a rarer example that is hinged and unscews on the thread to enable it to be opened up and a pendant can be securely attached

A lovely weighty chain with an aged patina, the tightly woven flat curb links create a very tactile chain that drapes beautifully
