Edwardian, Oval 9ct Rose Gold Glazed Locket, full UK hallmark from 1905

A lovely example of an Edwardian glazed locket with hallmarked solid Gold frames in 9ct Rose Gold. The original glass is chunky making the locket more robust than most of this type. The 2 glass panes sit well within the frame, 2 photos facing opposite ways can be added between the glass that is secured at the top by screwing in the bail. Also complete with the original jump ring ready to add to a Gold chain

Hallmark: Assayed in Birmingham in 1905, 9.375 (for 9ct Gold) the jump ring is also hallmarked 9.375

Makers mark W.W.C (quite rubbed but legible)

Weight: 9.7 grams

Dimensions: 25mm wide x 40.3mm high including bail but not jump ring, 7.6mm depth
