Beautiful Edwardian Enamelled Sterling Silver necklace by Charles Horner of Halifax, hallmarked in 1909

I love this Charles Horner design, it looks so contemporary despite its 116 years! Hand crafted from Sterling Silver; Featuring a heart motif and drop that suspends from a circular top section. All beautifully enamelled and still in amazing condition. In vibrant graduating colours, the top section being a deep purple, the heart and drop is in graduating tones of purple, royal blues and teal greens that shimmer and shine in the light

The pendant section is upon a fine trace link chain with bolt ring clasp that fastens securely (the clasp is a later replacement

Hallmark: Assayed in Chester in 1909, Lion passant for Sterling Silver

Makers mark: CH for Charles Horner

Dimensions: Length of the necklace is 47cm / 18 1/2 inches long approx- the pendant section including bail is 7cm in length

Weight: 5.5 grams

Condition: Very good Antique condition, the enamel is in excellent condition no losses at all, the Silver has a lovely mellowed patina
