A fabulous Sterling Silver Edwardian, curb link Albert watch chain, hallmarked in 1908

This heavy gauge, Antique chain can be worn as intended to suspend a pocket watch or as a very stylish necklace

The chain is made up of consistent width curb links that terminate with a matching dog clip at either end

When worn as a necklace the dog clips can be worn as a feature at the front or one can be hooked into the other's chunky suspension ring to create a hanging dog clip; A pendant or charm can then be suspended from it or worn as is, creating a very striking look!

All components are original to the chain, both dog clips bear the same makers mark and hallmark for 1908

The chain is made up of curb links, consistent in size at 6.9mm wide, so a great width for a stylish and striking necklace and the perfect length at 17 inches/ 43 cm

Hallmark: Date letter for 1908 to both dog clips, Lion Passant (for Sterling Silver) stamped on every link, some quite rubbed commensurate with the age of the piece

Makers mark: H.B for Herbert Bushell

Dimensions: Length end to end is 17 inches / 43cm Links are 6.9mm wide, when worn with 1 dog clip hanging down the length is 41cm, 16 1/8th inch

Condition: Very Good antique condition, a lovely mellow, antique patina to the Silver, some of the stamps are slightly rubbed commensurate with age
