Antique, Heavy, Sterling Silver, Double Albert Watch Chain With Swivel Fob, 63 Grams

A fabulous Antique, Sterling Silver, curb link double albert watch chain, hallmarked in 1906

This heavy gauge, Antique chain can be worn as intended to suspend a pocket watch or as a very stylish necklace and is complete with a swivel fob set with Carnelian and Bloodstone.

The fob can be easily be removed if preferred but looks to have been with the chain for many years so we are including it with the chain (please note there are scratches to the Carnelian and Bloodstone commensurate with age)

All components are original to the chain, The T bar and both dog clips bear the same makers mark and hallmark for 1906

The chain is made up of consistent width curb links of 6.7mm. With a central T bar

Hallmark: Birmingham assay, date letter for 1906 to T bar and both dog clips, Lion Passant (for Sterling Silver) stamped on every link

Makers mark: B & B

The fob is hallmarked in Birmingham, date letter for 1904, lion passant, makers mark: P & T

Weight: 63 grams including fob

Dimensions: Length end to end is 15 3/4 inches / 40cm. Links is 6.7mm wide, the T bar is 40mm long

Condition: The Albert chain is in Excellent antique condition, a lovely mellow, antique patina to the Silver, the Fob does have surface scratches to the Carnelian and Bloodstone, commensurate with age
