Antique, Large 9ct Gold & Carnelian, Long Torpedo Drop Earrings

Fabulous pair of large Antique Carnelian Torpedo drop earrings from the Late Victorian to Early Twentieth Century c1900s

The polished Carnelian torpedo drops are a vivid deep burnt orange hue and are both in amazing condition for their age, no chips or cracks and are bright and super shiny! Set in Rose Gold mounts, the shepherd hooks are hand made replacements made by our bench jeweller in a sympathetic antique style from recycled 9ct Gold

These stunning earrings are large at over 5cm long, they oscillate freely upon the shepherd hooks to dramatic effect!

Weight: 10.7 grams combined weight

Unmarked, tested as 9ct Gold

Dimensions: 5.2cm / 2 inches long to the bottom of the shepherd hooks, 10.6mm at the widest point

Condition: Excellent antique condition, the Carnelian have natural inclusions and some natural blemishes within the stone. Some tiny nibbles where the beads are drilled only seen under magnification
