Antique Silver foxtail link longuard chain set with fancy torpedo links c1900

The chain is a fairly petite example of a longuard chain, the foxtail links being just over 1mm wide, the 6 interspersed embossed torpedo links are 3.9mm wide and add interest and detailing to this versatile chain

A dinky Antique dog clip is suspended from the bottom of the chain and can be used to add a pendant or charm, or can be worn as is as the dog clip is a lovely thing in itself!

The chain can be worn long or doubled around the neck for a layered look

Weight: 10.5 grams

The dog clip is stamped SS for Sterling Silver and tests as such. The chain is unmarked and tests as slightly lower silver fineness of 800 approximately

Dimensions: 52 inches/ 132cm long, torpedo links are 3.9mm wide x 10mm long excluding end jump rings

Condition: Very Good antique condition, there are 2 repairs in the chain where the silver has fused slightly but very hard to spot when worn
