Antique, Victorian 18ct Gold, Unheated Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring in Antique Heart Ring Box

An Antique 18ct Gold, Natural unheated Sapphire & old European cut Diamond ring c1900 in an antique heart ring box!

This late Victorian ring is exceptional! set with a central faceted oval natural unheated Sapphire (with Gemstone report) of a deep royal blue hue, surrounded by 12 of the whitest and sparkliest old European cut Diamonds! The setting in yellow 18ct Gold sits upon openwork chenier shoulders that fall to a comfortable d shaped band

The Diamonds are all perfectly matched and of superb quality, the 2 that sit East and West of the Sapphire are slightly larger than the others adding a touch more interest to the ring. The Diamonds are bright, white, lively and firey and contrast beautifully against the deep blue Sapphire!

The Sapphire is a superb colour, rich and velvety with lovely translucency, when the light hits it, it really shows off it's splendid colour

This ring would make a rather special engagement ring and comes complete with an Antique heart ring box!

The 12 old European cut Diamonds: 2 x 3mm, 10 x 2.4mm, estimated in the setting as follows:
