Victorian Longuard Tulip link chain in 9ct Rose Gold with dog clip c1890s

These chains were originally worn long and tucked into clothing, usually suspending a pocket watch or longnettes. Today they are worn as very versatile chain necklaces and they look great! Wear doubled or trebled around the neck for a layered look. A pendant or charm can easily be suspended from the dog clip or wear as is - as the dog clip is a lovely feature in itself!

This beautiful example is made up of hand made tulip links throughout the entirety of the chain, all in solid 9ct rose Gold.

The chain is long, slinky and tactile, drapes beautifully and is a good weight at over 37 grams!

The dog clip is marked 9C and GOLD - the chain bears a 9ct tag (also tested to confirm 9ct Gold, fineness)

Dimensions: The links are 3.1mm wide approx. Chain length is 62 inches/ 158cm, excluding the dog clip that measures 2.3cm long
