A Victorian Sterling Silver wide buckle ring, embossed with Ivy motifs hallmarked in 1881

A gorgeous unusual and very striking Victorian buckle ring, adorned throughout the band with Ivy leaves that symbolise, love and loyalty and meaning 'I cling to thee', combined here with the buckle design that symbolises binding everlasting love and devotion, you can't get much more of a symbolic love token than this!

Fairly flat to the finger with a slight d shaped profile and very comfortable to wear, the ivy detailing is well defined as is the d shaped buckle and pin; very well preserved despite its 144 years!

Condition: Very good antique condition, the ring has been hand cloth polished and retains its antique patina, very good definition to the detailing throughout the band
