Art Deco, 18ct Gold & Platinum, Sapphire & Diamond Daisy Cluster Ring

This is a dazzling example of the ever popular, Art Deco Daisy Cluster ring and it is simply stunning! Made c1920s

The Platinum topped setting features a dazzling array of precious stones, a halo of 10 single cut Diamonds are set to a millegrain star design that surrounds the old cut, mid blue Sapphire to the centre. The setting is further elongated by raised Diamond set shoulders creating a further expanse of sparkle across the width of the finger. Another feature of the ring is the beautiful hand made openwork gallery in 18ct Gold.

The ring is quite practical to wear as it sits close to the finger, the setting falls to a comfortable D shaped band

The ring also bears a modern hallmark, this is dated 2016 and was probably added retrospectively due the ring not bearing a hallmark as some jewellers do prior to re selling (although not necessary due to updated legislation that States pre 1950 precious metal pieces do not need to bear a hallmark) basically the ring bears a modern hallmark and the original antique stamp
