Art deco, long cultured pearls necklace, double strand with 9ct gold clasp, diamond chip

The most beautiful Art Deco, double strand Cultured Pearl Necklace with 9ct white Gold clasp with a little Diamond chip from the 1920s-30s

The necklace has such a wonderful drape when worn and the graduated Cultured Pearls are so shiny and lustrous, creamy and iridescent with subtle pink overtones

The pearls graduate in size from 3.6mm to 7.6mm round

The pearls are a lovely longer length, the top strand being 56cm long and the bottom strand is 60cm long, all individually hand knotted on the original silk thread that remains in very good condition, no stretched or loose areas

The pearls close securely on the beautifully millegrain detailed openwork 9ct white Gold clasp, set with a little Diamond chip to the centre, with fish hook closure.

The clasp is stamped 9C (and tested)
