Edwardian 9ct gold arts & crafts fringe necklace, with baroque split pearls and natural turquoise

An absolutely gorgeous antique piece c1910s- all hand crafted at the height of the Arts & crafts movement when Artisans and master craftsmanship reigned! In 9ct yellow gold, Turquoise Cabochons and baroque split pearls

This necklace is testament to the craftsman(and woman!)ship of the era- the piece is simple in its design but look closer and you will see how delicate and intricate the gold work is- each natural cabochon and baroque split pearl is individually set in a hand made claw setting that encapsulates each unique organic shape

The turquoise are a very beautiful shade of pale teal- green/blue. The baroque pearls are all a shiny iridescent white - all in exceptional condiition.

The stones range in size form 6mm to 13mm

The stones graduate in size to the middle with a larger Turquoise cabochon- each stone is suspended from a knife edge spacer. The necklace is on a trace link gold chain that fastens with a barrel clasp.

The necklace is presently quite a short length at 37cm and falls to the base of the neck and does look stunning at this length- you will need a fairly slender neck

The necklace is in excellent condition - the pearls are all shiny and bright - no nacre damage , the Turquoise are all in excellent condition - there is a little crazing to one but this is naturally occurring matrix and not to be seen as a fault

The necklace is crafted from 9ct gold - fully tested - the barrel clasp is stamped 9ct to the inside.
