The impressive natural solid 4.4 carat Australian Opal has a pale green body and predominantly features flashes of greens, blues and yellows, oranges with an orange pink glow within when the light hits it

The bezel set Opal is framed by a Geometric surround, typical of the Art Deco era, topped in Platinum, neatly millegrain detailed, and set with single cut Diamonds for a touch of sparkle. The shoulders are further accentuated by neatly millegrained geometric motifs. Set atop a fabulous hand made openwork gallery that further echoes the geometric aesthetic

Condition: Very good vintage condition, the opal is well polished and shiny and only has some very light abrasions under 10 x magnification to be expected and commensurate with age, there are some very fine potch lines within the opal only seen with a loupe (10x magnification) and not at all detrimental aesthetically or structurally but should be mentioned
