A fabulous mid century, retro period ring, featuring a striking design, hand crafted in 18ct Gold. Lovely and chunky, the ring is set to its centre with an emerald cut, natural, unheated, Yellow, Ceylon Sapphire of over 4 carat, with a beautiful glistening golden hue. Within a sculpted, reeded frame with bifurcated raised shoulders. A dramatic design with lots of texture and detailing creates this stunning, very wearable ring!

The ring comes with a Gemmological report by AnchorCert Gem Lab (part of the Birmingham assay office) that states the following:

Emerald cut, Pale yellow colour,

9.51x7.81x5.03mm

4.03 carat

Natural Corundum

No evidence of heat treatment

Ceylon origin

Weight: 7.6 grams

Dimensions: The head of the ring is 14mm high x 16mm wide

Unmarked, tested as 18ct Gold

Condition: very good vintage condition, there is some tiny abrasions on the table facet only visible under 10 x magnification but should be mentioned
