A stunning Art Deco articulated Gilded Sterling Silver & Marcasite collar necklace by Theodore Fahner c1930s
These very collectible marcasite pieces were made after the Theodore Fahner company was purchased by Gustav Braendle in 1919 after the death of Theodore Fahner. The makers mark on this necklace was used from 1932
A beautiful design consisting of fan shaped filigree links, the top section is set with sparkly little graduating marcasite stones and a ball detail, each one joined by a reeded link creating a fully articulated piece
Crafted in Sterling Silver with a Gilded finish that creates a subtle, warm, muted Gold aesthetic to the necklace
This design looks very striking when worn and sits very well on the neck
The necklace closes securely with the original chunky bolt ring clasp
Condition: Very Good Vintage condition, No damage to the gilding or any stones, all marcasite stones are present, some teeny light tarnish marks to the rear of the links usually seen on these pieces
Dimensions: The necklace is 39cm / 15 1/4 inches long, the necklace is 14mm wide at the widest section
Makers mark: The necklace is stamped to the rear : Original Fahner TF 925
