Original Art Deco, Gold and Natural blue and white Sapphire earrings c1920s

Exquisitely handcrafted, drop earrings from the Art Deco period, set throughout with blue and white faceted Sapphires

The Blue Sapphires have a gorgeous Green Blue hue, with an estimated total carat weight (both earrings) of 2.43 carat

The white Sapphires, to the top and bottom sections form a halo around the larger blue Sapphires and create a dazzling sparkle to these fabulous earrings

Such attention to detail: the rear of the earrings are beautifully made, a convex, hand cut openwork design, making them beautiful from all angles!

The earrings are unmarked and have been XRF tested at the Birmingham assay office and test just below 375 fineness (9ct Gold) on later 9ct Gold hook fittings

The earrings come with an independant Jewellery assessment by Safeguard, part of the Birmingham assay office- please see image

Dimensions: 42.6mm long excluding hooks, 9.8mm at the widest point

Condition: Very good vintage condition, the occasional tiny nibble from some of the Sapphires but not at all eye visible, only seen under 10 x magnification
