Rare, Early 830 Silver Georg Jensen, Necklace No. 1 With Amber Cabochons

Very Rare and collectible, Early 20th Century Georg Jensen 830 Silver Floral, Collar Necklace no.1, made between 1915-1927

The necklace design is intricate yet with a simplistic modernist appeal synonymous with Georg Jensen pieces, Designed by Georg Jensen himself in the Edwardian period, this piece with early 830 stamps dates to 1915-1927, set with the even rarer to find egg yolk Amber cabochons to each flower head motif. The necklace has the beautiful hidden box clasp rather than the toggle clasp

The necklace features floral motifs of Lotus blossoms and flower heads designed by Georg Jensen himself who took much of his inspiration from nature. His designs are so timeless and blend effortlessly with modern or antique pieces

This Georg Jensen collar necklace looks super stylish on and is a rare and beautiful heirloom piece, like all Georg Jensen pieces it has a quality feel - it is fully articulated and moves freely, designed to fit the contours of the neck

The Necklace closes perfectly with a beautiful hidden box clasp also complete with the original figure of 8 clip for added security

Dimensions: The choker necklace is 37cm / 14 5/8 inch long and the links are 16.2mm wide

Stamped with Georg Jensen stamps used between 1915-1930 however with the 830 fineness mark which was used until 1927, dating the piece between 1915-1927

Condition: Very good vintage condition, lovely vintage patina to the Silver, one of the amber round cabochons has a tiny nibble only seen when viewed with a 10 x loupe and not at all visible with the naked eye but should be mentioned
