A stunning 1940s Retro period 18ct Gold, Platinum and Diamond cocktail tank ring c1945

The ring is stunning and of weighty proportions, nice and chunky in solid 18ct Gold, American in origin made c1945

Featuring a symmetrical design to the front in a bow like motif, a brilliant cut diamond is square set to the centre, 3 rose cut Diamonds are set in a triangular shape either side with 2 rose cut Diamonds set above and below. The settings are all topped with Platinum and shimmer and shine against the rich 18ct Gold back drop.

The ring features an openwork gallery which creates a further detailed element to this fabulous ring

Very comfortable to wear, the ring would make a rather striking alternative engagement ring or wear as a statement ring on any finger!

The principal central Diamond has been assessed in house, within the setting and is estimated as 0.3 carat, Clarity: SI1, colour H

Stamped 18K and a makers mark which appears to read PD with an arrow through the middle, American in origin

Dimensions: The head of the ring is 20mm wide x 12.5mm high, the band graduates from the shoulders 9.5mm to 5mm at the rear

Condition: Very good vintage condition, there are some little nibbles from the small rose cut diamonds that can only be seen when 10x magnified. The principle Diamond is a top quality stone and remains in immaculate condition
