A stunning 1940s Retro period 18ct Gold, Platinum and Diamond cocktail tank ring c1945

This vintage ring is stunning and of weighty proportions, nice and chunky in solid 18ct Gold, American in origin made c1945

Featuring a symmetrical design to the front in a bow like motif, a brilliant cut diamond is square set to the centre, 3 rose cut Diamonds are set in a triangular shape either side with 2 rose cut Diamonds set above and below. The settings are all topped with Platinum and shimmer and shine against the rich 18ct Gold backdrop

The ring features a beautifully handmade openwork gallery that can be seen when worn and creates a further detailed element to this fabulous ring 

The ring is practical and very comfortable to wear and would make a rather striking alternative engagement ring or wear as a statement ring on any finger!

The principal central Diamond has been assessed within the setting and is estimated as 0.30 carat, Clarity: VS2, colour H
10 small rose cut Diamonds accentuate the Principal Diamond

Stamped 18K and a makers mark which appears to read PD with an arrow through the middle, American in origin
