Victorian, 15ct Gold Brooch. Hallmarked 1887
A beautifully striking, Victorian 15ct Gold, painstakingly hand crafted brooch - hallmarked 1887
This quality brooch is crafted in warm, rich, solid 15ct Gold that has been bloomed to bring the high carat of the gold to the surface creating a rich matt finish. Little hand engraved flower motifs are set around the edge of the marquise shaped brooch- these are polished and shine against the bloomed matt finish. With ball and scroll detailing too- all hand cut and hand applied
The central bottle green glass is bezel set - holes have been applied behind the bezel to allow light to pass through the glass, which it does to dramatic effect
The brooch is perfectly preserved- the pin is also in gold and is perfectly straight- complete with a safety chain for added security
A beautiful gift for the antique brooch lover!
