The hand made boat setting is absolutely beautiful, with a central, oval, natural Opal cabochon, set betwixt 4 gloriously sparkling old mine cut Diamonds and 4 Diamond points, a round Opal cabochon to each side. The gallery is exquisitely hand carved with scroll motifs. The bifurcated shoulders add a further flourish to this unique ring We have had the opals professionally repolished and they are looking shiny, renewed and full of life! Featuring flashes of blues, greens, reds and yellows The old cut Diamonds are all white and firey and sparkle brightly, complimenting the Opals perfectly, a combination that never fails to delight! The ring would make a beautiful antique engagement ring, it is comfortable to wear as the setting is low on the finger The 4 old mine cut Diamonds have an estimated combined weight of 0.12ctw Hallmarked: Assayed in Birmingham 1876, Crown 18 for 18ct Gold (the crown is mostly rubbed, the other marks are clear) UK ring size: LUS ring size: 5.75 Weight: 2.5 grams Dimensions: The setting is 7.2mm high x 15.5mm wide Condition: Excellent antique condition, The opals have been professionally repolished.
