Victorian 9ct Gold, Garnet Cabochon & Old Mine Cut Diamond Ring

A superb, and rare to find, mid to late Victorian, 9ct Gold, Garnet cabochon and old mine cut Diamond ring c1880

This 9ct Gold, hand crafted, Antique ring is stunning on the finger, a large carbuncle Garnet with a central old mine cut Diamond set to it's centre, helps make this ring extra special. The round natural Garnet Cabochon is closed backed, when the light sneaks in from the side the garnet lights up, an amazing deep, blood red. The old mine cut Diamond, bezel set in Gold to it's centre, adds a touch of sparkle and further detailing. Claws rise from the bottom of the open gallery and envelops the stone. In superb antique condition, a stunning eye catching statement piece!
