A super collectors item, Victorian Sterling Silver sovereign holder, hallmarked in Chester 1890, made by Deakin & Francis

Very unusual and striking - reminiscent of a shell or clam in design, both sides are the same making it reversible. The sovereign case opens up with a push button at the top and is in original condition with the spring loaded compartment that would have safely held sovereigns in place.

This beautiful antique can also be worn as a stunning and unusual, large locket or pendant
