A beautiful Old European cut Diamond stick pin that converts to a dress stud in original case, c1890

This superb antique piece is very versatile, the Diamond is claw set upon a star motif with a screw back that easily transitions from stick pin to shirt stud by screwing into the top of the pin or the back of the shirt stud

The old European cut Diamond is top quality, lively white and so firey! Estimated in the setting as 3.3x3.3x3mm, 0.20 carat weight, VS2 Clarity, G colour

Comes complete with the original case retailed by RC Oldfield of Liverpool and lined with aubergine velvet and silk making this a lovely gift

Unmarked, tests as 15ct Gold star setting, 9ct Gold pin and dress stud back
