Vintage Art Deco Period, Sterling Silver, Graduated Double Albert Watch Chain, 37 grams

A fabulous Vintage Sterling Silver curb link double Albert watch chain with 2 dog clips and T bar, made in the Art Deco period 1934

This beautiful Vintage watch chain can be worn as intended to suspend a pocket watch or as a very stylish short necklace

The chain is made up of graduating curb links with 2 matching dog clips and a T bar suspended from the middle

This Albert chain would have been one of the last in main stream production before pocket watches went into decline in favour of the modern wrist watch by the 1930s

All components are original to the chain, both dog clips and T bar bear the same makers mark

The chain is made up of curb links, that graduate in size from 5.3mm to 7mm wide

Hallmark: Date letter for 1934 to the T bar, Lion Passant (for Sterling Silver) stamped on every link

Makers mark: N.C.R Co for N.C Reading & Co on the T bar, central link and both dog clips

Weight: 37 grams

Dimensions: Length end to end is 15.5 inches / 39.5cm Links are 7mm wide at the widest graduating down to 5.3mm at the narrowest

Condition: Very Good antique condition, some of the stamps are slightly rubbed, commensurate with age
