Vintage, David Anderson, Sterling Silver & Enamel, Floral motif panel Necklace c1950

A beautiful and very striking mid 20th Century collar Necklace by the very collectible Silversmiths company, David Anderson of Norway

The chain linked Guilloche enamelled panels alternate between rectangular blue enamel sections and a square section with a floral motif to it's centre upon a background of white enamel

The necklace is made to follow the contours of the neck, the longer rectangular blue sections being gently curved, so the necklace sits very well when worn

This colourway is very eye catching indeed, a vibrant mid blue and subtle soft white

The enamel to this necklace is in beautiful condition, each panel is shiny, colourful and vibrant with no enamel losses or any damage whatsoever, a perfectly preserved piece (please note any marks in the images are reflections from the lights)

The necklace has a hidden box clasp that closes securely with a nice click (and remains securely closed when worn)

Makers mark: DA (for David Anderson) between scales and 925s, NORWAY STERLING (mark used post 1925 to present)

Condition: Very good vintage condition - the enamel is in excellent condition. Each panel is bright and clear. Some slight discolouration to the gold wash on the silver to the rear which is usually the case in these pieces
